The Horned Frogs add a former four-star prospect to their 2025 transfer class.
The TCU Horned Frogs are building momentum in the transfer portal. After reportedly signing Houston wide receiver Joseph Manjack IV and UTSA running back Kevorian Barnes earlier this week, TCU bolstered its secondary with a commitment from LSU redshirt freshman safety and former four-star prospect Kylin Jackson. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder from Clinton, Louisiana signed with LSU out of high school and spent two seasons with the Tigers. Jackson totaled four tackles over four games during the 2024 season this fall.

Jackson’s commitment is the second significant move this week for the TCU secondary, which will retain sophomore safety and former four-star prospect Jamel Johnson, who withdrew from the transfer portal after entering it earlier this month. Jackson hails from Zachary, Louisiana and played his high school football at Zachary, where he became a four-star prospect. The Horned Frogs are slowly building a strong transfer class, which already includes Manjack IV and Barnes as well as Washington State’s Ansel Din-Mbuh.
