The redshirt sophomore hauled in 78 catches for 1,192 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
TCU football made one of its biggest splashes in the transfer portal on Saturday, securing a commitment from former Idaho wide receiver Jordan Dwyer, who ranks as one of the best pass catchers in the portal. Dwyer had an outstanding season for Idaho in 2024, hauling in 78 receptions for 1,192 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 195-pounder from Puyallup, Washington was an All-Big Sky Second Team honoree for the Vandals this season.

Dwyer has eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark five times in 2024, most recently catching 11 balls for 189 yards and two touchdowns against Montana State in the quarterfinal round of the FCS Playoffs. Dwyer also had seven catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns in Idaho’s second-round victory against Lehigh. TCU beat out USC and Washington for Dwyer, who has spent three seasons with the Vandals and has 1,651 receiving yards and 18 scores over that period. Dwyer will join a wide receiver room in need of reinforcements, as the Horned Frogs will be losing seniors including Jack Bech, Savion Williams and JP Richardson. Former Aledo and Alabama wideout JoJo Earle also entered the portal earlier this month.
