The 22-year old spent the spring with the Horned Frogs before transferring to Utah State
Utah State defensive back Andre Seldon Jr. passed away on Saturday following cliff diving accident in Porcupine Reservoir in Utah.

The 22-year old from Belleville, MI began his college career with the the Michigan Wolverines where he played in two games over two seasons before transferring to New Mexico State. Playing in all 28 games in his two seasons in Las Cruces, Seldon recorded 96 total tackles, 4.5 going for loss, with 13 passes defensed and two interceptions, with one being returned for a touchdown.
Seldon transferred to TCU following the 2023 season, participating in spring practice in Fort Worth before hitting the transfer portal again in April and joining the Utah State Aggies. You can read the Deseret News for further detailed reporting on the tragic accident.
