The Texarkana, Texas recruit held offers from Baylor, SMU and Texas Tech.
Jan. 20 has been a notable recruiting day for the TCU Horned Frogs, who have earned a commitment from 2026 three-star defensive lineman Duncan McGhee from Texarkana, Texas. McGhee, who becomes the fifth member of the 2026 class for the Horned Frogs, held offers from Baylor, SMU, UTSA and Texas Tech before choosing TCU. McGhee is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman who plays at Texas High School in Texarkana.

McGhee, who also holds offers from Houston, Mississippi State and Texas State (according to Rivals), is rated as a three-star prospect under Rivals. McGhee recorded 73 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss and four sacks during his junior season in 2024. McGhee finished with 52 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss and three hurries during his sophomore season in 2023. McGhee has played in 24 varsity games over the last two years, according to MaxPreps.
