The Horned Frogs score their first recruit of the 2026 cycle.
As the TCU football team continues to build its recruiting class for the 2025 season, head coach Sonny Dykes and his staff are already looking to the future, scoring their first pledge of the 2026 recruiting class in four-star wide receiver Brock Boyd from Southlake, Texas. Boyd plays his high school football at Southlake Carroll and held offers from Arizona, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, SMU and more before announcing his commitment Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder currently ranks as the No. 42 wide receiver nationally and the No. 39 recruit in the state of Texas for the 2026 cycle, according to the 247Sports composite ratings system. Brock’s older brother, Brady Boyd, currently plays for Texas Tech and was a three-star wide receiver in high school before signing with the Red Raiders.
