The Horned Frogs add their fourth player in the last week to the 2026 class.
TCU football’s recruiting momentum for the 2026 season stayed hot with another pledge, this time from Austin Westlake defensive lineman Maddox Flynt. The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder was the Texas District 26-6A Defensive Lineman of the Year as a sophomore in 2023, when he recorded 56 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble in 14 games. Flynt held offers from Kansas State and Houston before committing to the Horned Frogs.

Flynt is the sixth member of the 2026 class for the Horned Frogs, who have earned pledges from four-star defensive lineman Jesse Ford as well as three-star recruits Carter Buck and Duncan McGhee within the last week. Flynt was a Texas Division 1-6A state finalist in 2024, when he totaled 65 tackles, 14 quarterback hurries, 10 tackles for loss, four sacks and two pass deflections as a junior. Flynt is the third defensive lineman of the 2026 class for TCU.
