The Horned Frogs bolster the trenches with a 6-foot-5, 250-pounder from Monroe, Louisiana.
TCU collected a pair of defensive line recruits over the weekend. One of which was Monroe, Louisiana three-star prospect Brody Whatley, who had previously been committed to Baylor before flipping to the Horned Frogs. The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder plays his high school football at Neville and held offers from Missouri, Arkansas and SMU before choosing TCU.

Whatley ranks as a top-50 prospect in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports composite ratings system. The Horned Frogs have prioritized the defensive line for the 2025 class, which now includes four EDGE rushers (Chad Woodfork, Jared Martin, John Schobel and Anthony Williams) in addition to defensive linemen Blake Robinett and Floyd Guidry III. TCU now has 24 recruits for the 2025 class.
