Notre Dame transfer Braylon James adds a blue-chip pedigree to the Horned Frogs WR room

A four-star prospect in the 2023 Class out of Round Rock, TX, Braylon James rated as a top-20 wide receiver in the class and top 25 overall player in the state of Texas. Sought after by nearly every program in college football, receiving 42 scholarship offers, James committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. James retained redshirt eligibility playing in four games during the 2023 season, making one reception for 12 yards. While he does not yet have the production profile of many of his peers in the TCU wide receiver room, James does bring a recruiting pedigree and high ceiling that could propel him to big things for the Frogs in 2024 and beyond.
