A four-star prospect out of Justin Northwest, Mike Nichols ranked as a top 25 offensive tackle in the 2020 class per 247Sports. Now entering his fifth season in Fort Worth, the 6-foot-5, 315 pound lineman is in line to earn a starting role in 2024 as longtime starters Brandon Coleman and Andrew Coker have graduated. Nichols held a role in the O-Line rotation in 2022, playing in each of the season’s opening five games before missing the rest of the season with injury. Last season Nichols started at right tackle in five contests and saw action in all 12 games.
