An two-star recruit out of Dallas Lake Highlands, Marshall Newhouse became a three-time All-Mountain West force on the offensive line for the Horned Frogs. Seeing action in his first game as a true freshman, the 6-foot-4, 320 pound lineman took over as the starting left tackle to open his 2007 sophomore season, missing just one game over the next three campaigns. Named to All-American teams in 2009 by Rivals and Sports Illustrated, Newhouse was a major piece of TCU’s Fiesta Bowl squad, anchoring an offensive line that allowed just 12 total sacks across the 13 game season.
Following his TCU career, Newhouse was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 5th Round of the 2010 NFL Draft, winning Super Bowl XLV in his rookie year. He became a starter in his second professional season and would go on to make 81 total starts and 133 games played in his 11 year NFL career, playing for the Bengals, Giants, Raiders, Bills, Panthers, Patriots, and Titans, earning playtime at every position on the offensive line except Center.
