A top-30 interior offensive lineman nationally and a top-20 overall player from the state of Pennsylvania in the Class of 2022, Coltin Deery joined the Maryland Terrapins out of high school, playing 10 games including two starts at Center in Big Ten play. Following his true freshman campaign, the 6-foot-four 345-pound OL joined the Horned Frogs ahead of the 2023 season, playing in every game with seven starts at left guard to close the year. He played 548 snaps in 2023 with only one penalty committed and two sacks allowed, per PFF. Going into his second season in Fort Worth, Deery will have ample competition for a starting role along the three interior offensive line positions as TCU hit the transfer portal hard to fill out the depth, but Deery will have opportunity to be a major contributor at Guard or Center in 2024.
