First Team All-Big 12 kicker Jonathan Song is TCU’s all-time leader in field goal percentage

TCU Football has been blessed with a series of clutch placekickers over the last decade, the legendary careers of Jaden Oberkrom in the mid-2010s and Griffin Kell in the early 2020s was bridged by Fort Worth’s own, Jonathan Song. There has been no more accurate field goal kicker in Horned Frogs history; making 40 of 44 career attempts, Song’s 90.9% is bounds ahead of the field and perhaps a career achievement never to be surpassed. After missing most of his first two seasons with redshirt and injury, Song became the primary placekicker in 2017, making all eight of his FG attempts before missing the final five games due to injury, including the Big 12 Championship and Alamo Bowl. In 2018, Song delivered signature moments with game-winners vs. Iowa State and vs. Cal in the historic Cheez-It Bowl, as well as his career-long make, a 46-yarder at Texas. In 2019, Song connected on all 39 of his extra point attempts while making 23 of 24 field goal attempts, earning First Team All-Big 12 honors.
Song continues his influence on the TCU program, as his family business Men’s Collection keeps the Horned Frogs and the Fort Worth community looking fresh whenever there is a need for a new suit.
