WR Savion Williams led the Horned Frogs in receiving in 2023 and is again atop the depth chart for 2024
3 | WR Savion Williams
Returning for a fifth season with the Horned Frogs after leading the team in receiving in 2023, Savion Williams is looking to be WR1 again for TCU in 2024. A four-star in the 2020 recruiting class along with Quentin Johnston, the Marshall, TX native had a breakout campaign as a full-time starter. His best game of the season came against eventual Big 12 Champion and CFP Semifinalist Texas Longhorns, showing that true WR1 ability, with 164 yards and a TD on 11 receptions. At 6-foot-5, 225-pound, Williams has the ability to be a matchup nightmare and major weapon every week. Already developed a strong connection with QB1 Josh Hoover, Williams had his best efforts once Hoover took over as the starter. After receiving Honorable Mention All-Big 12 in 2023, expect Williams to be in contention for all-conference honors by the end of the year, despite being left off the preseason team.
