No player in TCU history has had a better season attacking opposing quarterbacks than Bo Schobel in 2003. A two-time His 17 sacks in 2003 still stands as a Horned Frog single season record, earning him All-American Honors in his senior season. A First Team All-Conference USA defensive end in both 2002 & 2003, Schobel led a TCU defense that ranked first in the nation in total defense and rush defense and was named to the C-USA All-Decade Team. Schobel finished his collegiate career with 147 tackles, 44.5 for loss, with 28.5 sacks, tied with Jerry Hughes for second-most in program history.
Schobel was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the Fourth Round of the 2004 NFL Draft where he would play for two seasons before joining the Indianapolis Colts in 2007, winning Super Bowl XLI. He saw action in 29 games, making 41 tackles.
