The pair will go for gold in Paris, representing Team Spain
TCU Beach Volleyball star duo of Tania Moreno and Daniela Alvarez missed the 2024 collegiate season to focus on the qualification competitions for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Competing in 22 events over the last year, the pair earned enough points to climb to the No. 14 spot on the FIVB World Ranking, with the top 17 pairs earning a guaranteed bid to the Olympics. The ranking was boosted with a season-best points total coming from a fourth-place finish at last week’s BPT Elite16 Espinho, the Spanish duo’s first ever Elite16 semifinal appearance.
