The former Horned Frog assistant is coming back to Fort Worth after two seasons with the Buckeyes.
The TCU baseball team didn’t wait long to find its newest assistant coach. The Horned Frogs are reportedly reuniting with old friend Bill Mosiello, who has been the head coach at Ohio State for the last two seasons. Mosiello was the associate head coach with TCU from 2014-22 and will return to Fort Worth in place of TJ Bruce, who’s heading to Long Beach State. D1 Baseball insider Kendall Rogers reported the news of Mosiello’s return on Friday morning.

The return of Mosiello should excite Horned Frog baseball fans, as TCU reached the College World Series four consecutive times from 2014-17 with Mosiello on the coaching staff. The Horned Frogs also won seven Big 12 Conference titles during Mosiello’s time at TCU. Ohio State went 31-25 under Mosiello in 2023 and 29-26 under his watch in 2024.
