Griffin is the second infielder that TCU has added through the transfer portal this offseason. The Horned Frogs received a commitment from former Washington State infielder Cole Cramer earlier this offseason. Griffin is a 5-foot-10, 195-pounder from Houston, Texas who played shortstop, second base and center field during his lone season at Stephen F. Austin. Griffin is currently playing summer league baseball with the Willmar Stingers in the Northwoods League, where he’s batting .351 with 18 RBIs and 17 stolen bases over 14 games. Griffin totaled 21 stolen bases during his freshman season at Stephen F. Austin.
