The Horned Frogs took all four games over the Toreros this past weekend.
The 2025 baseball season opened in a big way for the TCU Horned Frogs, who ventured out west and took all four of their nonconference games against San Diego for a sweep of the Toreros. After an extra-inning victory on Friday, TCU broke out the bats over the next three contests, averaging almost 10 runs per game to end the four-game set with a 4-0 record. The Horned Frogs will return to Texas and take on a trio of tough opponents during the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington. TCU will face Michigan, Arkansas and Kansas State over a three-day weekend period beginning this Friday.
