Hoover received the most playing time of the five players entering the transfer portal. The sophomore left-hander from Santa Barbara, California made 33 appearances and five starts over the last two seasons, recording a 6.83 ERA over 55.1 career innings with TCU. Hoover struck out 65 batters and walked 39, allowing 60 hits with a .278 career opposing average. Neither Harris or Lewis received any innings for the Horned Frogs during the 2024 season.
First off I want to thank TCU for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level. With that being said I have entered the transfer portal.

Miranda redshirted during the 2023 season but was unable to carve out a significant infield role this spring, finishing with five at-bats over 13 games and hitting one double. Ingersoll appeared in 12 games and started nine over the last two seasons, notching two hits over 21 at-bats as a Horned Frog. Along with the current outgoing transfers, TCU is set to lose senior pitchers Hunter Hodges and Ben Hampton as well as graduate transfers Colt Taylor (Tennessee Tech) and Zack Morris (Arkansas). Junior left-hander Payton Tolle could also forgo his remaining eligibility with the Horned Frogs to declare for the 2024 MLB Draft.
After careful consideration, I have decided to enter the Transfer Portal with 4 years eligibility remaining. Thank you to the TCU Baseball coaching staff and assistants for the opportunity this year. I am excited for the future and eager to help a program win!
