Following a Big 12 All-Freshman Team performance in 2022, Seven Castain started every game of the 2023 campaign, leading the squad with 20 shots on goal, fittingly putting seven into the net, earning First Team All-Big 12 as a sophomore. Scoring two goals in her home state of Utah vs. the top-ranked BYU Cougars, guiding the Frogs to a thrilling draw on the road. Castain was also responsible for the lone goal in the home win over Texas A&M and had another multi-goal game win the blowout win at West Virginia. Her return in 2024 gives the Frogs one of the top forward units in the conference.
Joining in attack is senior Camryn Lancaster, a Big 12 All-Freshman member in 2021 and First Team All-Big 12 in 2022, she is a prolific facilitator up front, scoring 17 goals and dishing 17 assists in her three seasons in Fort Worth.

Additional returning pieces in the attack include senior Lauren Memoly & Junior AJ Hennessey. Memoly played every game last season, starting 17 delivering one assist on the year. Hennessey was a do-everything player as an every-game starter for the Frogs, bringing the fiery aggression to the field and also a penalty kick specialist, scoring four goals and four assists on the year

The Horned Frogs will be without two key forwards from the 2023 squad as both Sandra Jakobsen and Skylar Heinrich both exhausted their eligibility last season. Heinrich often served as super-sub for TCU, playing in 17 games last year, scoring two goals and an assist; Jakobsen saw action in 14 games with three starts, sending three of her eight shots on frame. Newcomers to the TCU forward unit include true freshmen Ainsley Moy and Cameron Patton with Sasha Carbone returning for her sophomore season after not seeing any action in 2023.
TCU begins its challenging non-conference slate hosting the Alabama Crimson Tide in Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium on Thursday August 15 at 7:00 PM and opens Big 12 play on September 12 vs. reigning regular season champion Texas Tech.
