The Dallas Mavericks avoided a four-game sweep in the NBA Finals on Friday night, blowing out the Boston Celtics at home. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 50 points despite not having to play much in the second half.
After the Mavericks won Game 4, Doncic’s father, Sasa, had a heartwarming interaction with Irving’s father, Drederick.
Sasa and Drederick embraced each other right after the final buzzer went off.
The official X account for the NBA shared a video of Sasa and Drederick’s interaction.

The Mavericks will try to extend the series on Monday night when they face the Celtics in Boston.
Doncic told reporters Friday night that a blowout victory in Game 4 won’t change the team’s approach moving forward. They firmly believe they can get the job done.
“It doesn’t change anything,” Doncic said, via ESPN. “Like I said in the beginning of this series, it’s the first to four. And we’re going to believe until the end. We’re just going to keep going. I have big belief in this team that we can do it.”
Game 5 will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday.
