The Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks have emerged as teams with interest in trading for Kyrie Irving, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Lakers have had the strongest links to Irving dating back to last offseason, while the Mavericks have been reported at various points as well.
The Suns are a new addition to the Irving market and have some level of uncertainty at point guard due to age of Chris Paul. Paul is on a partially guaranteed contract for 23-24 and a non-guaranteed deal for 24-25.
Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes reported that the Suns are considered one of the few teams that could offer a package to the Nets that would keep both teams in pursuit of a championship.
