Another home loss for Dallas
The Dallas Mavericks matched up against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, one of 15 different games featuring the whole league. Dallas fell to Indiana, 134-127 in a rather abysmal defensive performance. Following the game, Josh and I talked it out.
The defense ended up being the name of the game in the loss to the Pacers. With Dereck Lively a late scratch, the interior was left to the devices of Daniel Gafford, who quickly proved insufficient for the job. We talk about how Dallas went small and PJ Washington was excellent on defense, but Luka Doncic became the target in the final quarter where Dallas couldn’t gain any ground.

Following a break, we have a Naji Marshall love fest; the new Maverick really poured it in with 20 points, five rebounds, and six assists. This game brings out all the frustrations from fans who opted to stay up late only to see the Mavericks be unable or unwilling to play better defense on the Pacers. This was a very annoying loss that should bother Mavericks fans, as it seems former coach Rick Carlisle cannot stop beating his old team.
If you’re watching the show on YouTube, I go straight into Group Therapy with Mavs fans which was a lot of fun. As always thanks so much for spending your time with us.
