Dallas gets a home win over Chicago
The Dallas Mavericks hosted the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. It was the fourth game in their early season homestand and the Mavericks blew the doors off Chicago, winning 119-99. Following the game, Josh Bowe and I discussed the game and the major takeaways.
After a brief summary of the first half, Josh talks a lot about his two interlinking items he’s walking away from the game with: Doncic’s passing and playmaking paired with the injection of Naji Marshall into the starting lineup. Dallas had more movement with the ball, and the game was fun to watch. How much of that is Chicago being awful versus Dallas doing a little more with ball movement?

After the break, we talk through a few more items, but this game was more fun than it was something worthy of deep study. Dallas beating the crap out of teams that they’re supposed to is good, but drawing more conclusions seems unwise. The next three Dallas games are harder: Phoenix, Denver, Golden State. See everyone Friday for the earlier game!
