Patrick Mahomes is loving the move his Mavericks just made in free agency.
According to ESPN, “Klay Thompson is joining the Dallas Mavericks on a three-year, $50M deal with a player option…” Noting, “Thompson ends his historic Warriors run as part of a multi-team sign-and-trade that’ll also send Josh Green to Charlotte.”
Mahomes quickly took to social media to reply to the network’s tweet with a trio of flexing emojis.
Others joined in on the fun as well:
“Cool this dude took away two SBs from me and now his fav basketball team takes Klay,” a user said.
“The goat QB approval has been sent,” another replied.
“Mahomes to the Cowboys confirmed?” a fan asked.
“Mavs getting their chip and 3 peat coming for Pat the [GOAT].”
“I’m torn on this one!” another person exclaimed. “Love the Warriors and the Mavericks. I knew it was time for him to move on. Mavericks = great fit.”

Dallas landed the sharpshooter it definitely needed for a decent price all things considered.
Despite reaching the Finals this year it was clear that the Mavs didn’t have the offense to win the title if they didn’t play perfect basketball. This could change things for Jason Kidd’s Mavericks.
