The Brooklyn Nets would “covet” Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith should they trade Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks, sources told Marc Stein of Substack.
The Mavs have tossed around the idea of acquiring Irving since last summer and are confident that Jason Kidd could connect with the point guard.
The Mavs would also insist that the Nets take back one of their long-term contracts in Tim Hardaway Jr. or Davis Bertans.
Irving has also been linked with the Suns and the Lakers.
