In case you were wondering, Mavericks fans are still upset about the Luka Doncic trade.
Ahead of Saturday’s game vs. the Houston Rockets, folks in Dallas staged another protest outside the American Airlines Center where they once again brought out the casket and had a makeshift funeral for the loss of their Slovenian-born superstar.
A truck saying “Fire Nico, Sell The Team” also passed by the plaza which was filled with praying supporters.

It didn’t take long for these images to go viral on social media.
“This is getting out of hand,” a user said.
“Nico even upset that poor old lady,” another pointed out.
“What’s my grandma doing there,” a Dallas native asked.
“This is actually so [expletive] funny,” betr replied.
“What a loser fan base. These lames are not even fit to be in the presence of AD,” a Lakers fan posted.
“i [expletive] love this, we love you luka!”
“Id be like this if warriors had traded Steph or Klay tho – I get it,” another person admitted.
Clearly the Mavs faithful are taking this one pretty hard and it’s understandable to a degree.
The franchise traded away one of the most beloved basketball talents in the world to the Los Angeles Lakers, in the heart of his prime, with no contingency plan past more than a few years.
Fans in Dallas loved Luka almost like they loved Dirk Nowitzki and there’s no reason to think he would’ve ever worn another jersey other than No. 77 in blue. But that’s not the reality we live in anymore and they’re going to have to come to terms with it.
We’re roughly two months away from Doncic’s return when the Lake Show comes to town April 9. That game will be broadcast at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN.
