15 Dallas Mavericks players attended a “mini-camp” in Los Angeles, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
“Everything I heard about the mini-camp was that the on-court stuff was great, but maybe the off-court stuff was even better,” said Stein on DLLS Mavs podcast.
“I don’t know too many Mavs teams of the past had 15 guys getting together in LA in August,” added Stein.
New signing Klay Thompson was part of the mini-camp.
Kyrie Irving also participated in limited fashion. Irving had surgery on his left hand in July and still has yet to be cleared for 5-on-5.
