The Dallas Mavericks are motivated to trade away Tim Hardaway Jr. this offseason. Hardaway is entering the final season of his contract at $16.2 million for 24-25. Hardaway largely fell out of the Mavericks’ rotation during the playoffs.
Hardaway appeared in 79 games, averaging 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 26.8 minutes.
The Mavericks would like to re-sign Derrick Jones Jr., who became their starting small forward after signing to a minimum deal in the 2023 offseason.
Hardaway is represented by Zach Kurtin, while Jones’ agent is Aaron Turner.
