An odd tip time against Indiana for Mavericks fans tonight
The Dallas Mavericks (4-2) host the Indiana Pacers (2-4) on Monday night. The game has the odd start time of 8:45 pm local despite being played at the American Airlines Center. There are no NBA games tomorrow, because why would anyone want a respite from the US election, so instead the NBA is having 15 games tonight, all starting every 15 minutes! Let’s get to the main things to know
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Indiana Pacers
- WHAT: Game three of five game home-stand for the Mavericks
- WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas Texas
- WHEN: 8:45 p.m. CST
- HOW: MavsTV, NBA League Pass, Channel 29 (local fans), also Playback with Kirk, Matthew, and David
On the injury front, it’s the same two guys for the Mavericks: Maxi Kleber and Dante Exum. The Pacers, on the other hand, have some early injury problems. TWO different centers have torn their Achilles in the early part of the season: James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson. Aaron Nesmith is out with an ankle sprain and Andrew Nembhard is questionable as of this writing with left knee soreness.
Dallas played a strong game last night against the reeling Orlando Magic. Luka Doncic had his version of a get-right game and finally scored with ease. The Pacers have lost four of their last five with the one win coming at the expense of the champion Boston Celtics. This should be a good game as Rick Carlisle always has the Mavericks number in some way.
As you can tell below, you can join me and some other Mavs Moneyball guys in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start around 11:45 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
