One game more
The Dallas Mavericks (29-26) host the Miami Heat (25-27) for the final regular season game before the NBA’s All Star weekend. The Mavericks won a thrilling national TV game against the Golden State Warriors last night. Miami’s lost two in a row and would like to right the ship somewhat before the break. Here’s the main things to know before the game:
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat
- WHAT: Searching for win number 30!
- WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas Texas
- WHEN: 7:30 pm CST
- HOW: Chanell 29 KFAA, MavsTV, and Playback with Kirk, Matthew, and David
On the injury front for the Dallas Mavericks, Dereck Lively, Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, Caleb Martin, and Anthony Davis are still out. Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and Dante Exum are all questionable. The Miami Heat have a messy report as well. Andrew Wiggins, Terry Rozier, and Kevin Love are out for various reasons. Bam Adebayo is questionable with a knee issue. Duncan Robinson is listed as probable with an illness. It’s definitely the day before All Star break.
After the win over the Warriors last night, you could convince me of anything. The Heat are far less talented but they always play Dallas very hard. It would be nice if Dallas could get a win in their injured situation, but it’s hard to make a solid prediction. The Mavericks have, at least, played REALLY hard as of late, so that will be fun to watch.
As you can tell below, you can join me and some other Mavs Moneyball guys in a room on Playback (embedded below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also, consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start after the game. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
