Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has made it very clear over the past few months that he will not vote for Donald Trump under any circumstance.
Once Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Cuban quickly declared his support for Kamala Harris. During the Democratic National Convention, he had this to say about the vice president: “Kamala Harris is defining her own policies, and the Democratic Party is falling in line with her.”
So, it’s safe to say this Tuesday’s debate didn’t change Cuban’s political stance at all. He will vote for Harris when the election comes around this November.
However, Cuban revealed on social media that he has friends in Texas who were impressed by what they saw from Harris during the debate.
Cuban claims his friends will vote for Harris because she came off as “more presidential” than Trump.
“I have several friends in Texas who texted me after the debate and told me they were convinced that she was more presidential and would bring more stability,” Cuban wrote on X. “They would vote for her. They were concerned about whether she would stay a centrist. But thought that risk was less than Trump’s instability and inability to keep from being baited again and again.”
Cuban has been quite active on social media lately. Just last week, he called out the mainstream media for protecting Trump.
“No question, the MSM protects the republican candidate by not reporting on what he literally says. If anyone else used the exact same language, they would dismiss them as incoherent, senile, incompetent or worse,” Cuban said.
With the election less than two months away, NBA fans should expect to see more comments like this from Cuban.
