Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban has been a vehement supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming U.S. Presidential election and his passionate support for the Democratic Party nominee resulted in a clash on CNBC.
During a live phone conversation with Rebecca Quick on the network, Cuban was pressed over some recent wording to a new capital gains tax that Harris’ team is supporting.
Things started off cordially enough with Cuban conceding that improper implementation of such a tax risked crashing the entire stock market. But as Quick continued to push back, Cuban became flustered and when Quick suggested that Harris was simply telling supporters what they wanted to hear while keeping details of the proposal vague, he went off.
“No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,” Cuban said at one point, repeating the word “no” well over a dozen times in rapid succession while insisting that the details were minor.

Cuban finished by asserting that the lack of clarity right now isn’t a big deal because they need to finalize it first. “It’s not a big deal because they gotta get the details right,” he said.
Quick pointed out that with the election just two months away, it’s something that should probably be clear now.
