Diamond Sports Group’s revised broadcast deals with 22 NBA and NHL teams was approved on Tuesday by a federal judge.
The company filed for Chapter 11 nearly 18 months ago.
The judge approved Diamond’s request to eliminate its contract with the Mavs and Pelicans. Diamond will continue to air games during the 2024-25 season for the 22 teams in its portfolio.
The Pelicans will broadcast games on over-the-air television next season.
