The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed guard Brandon Williams to a Two-Way contract.
Williams (6-1, 190) holds career NBA averages of 8.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 18.4 minutes in 41 games (16 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers and Mavericks. He has also appeared in 40 career regular-season G League games (36 starts) with the Westchester Knicks, College Park Skyhawks and Texas Legends, averaging 20.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.1 minutes.
The 24-year-old originally signed a Two-Way deal with the Mavericks on Dec. 28, 2023, and appeared in 17 games with the club last season, averaging 3.2 points and 1.0 assists in 6.6 minutes per game. He also saw action in seven games (five starts) for the Legends 2023-24, averaging 24.1 points (.477 FG%, .875 FT%), 5.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.0 minutes.
Before signing with Dallas midway through the 2023-24 campaign, Williams appeared in 14 G League games (13 starts) for the Osceola Magic during the 2023 Showcase Cup, averaging 22.4 points (.479 FG%, .376 3FG%, .833 FT%), 4.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 31.9 minutes.
